Universal Database for AI

MILK will enable the storage of various types of information, such as scientific research, internet history, archived web pages, politically censored content, books, and datasets for AI training.

Dynamic self-sustaining Library of Knowledge

MILK will evolve from centralized control to full decentralization for file uploads in three stages. First, file uploads are curated and managed by the team, then community members will be able to vote to approve files for blockchain uploads. Finally, it will become a fully decentralized process: users autonomously select and upload files to the blockchain, creating a self-sustaining Machine Learning Library of Knowledge (MILK).

Onchain Storage

MILK data will be stored on the blockchain, ensuring immutability, availability, and resistance to censorship. Data in the contract's event logs remains unchanged and is preserved across all network nodes, making it accessible even in the event of censorship attempts. Deleting this data would be equivalent to a hard fork, resulting in a loss of trust from users in the network

The project uses the Base network, which offers a cost-effective solution for data storage. For instance, storing 1 GB of data in the event logs of a contract on Base costs $16,000, significantly cheaper than storing the same data on an Ethereum contract.

Gas Sharding

MILK players collectively share the cost of uploading data to the blockchain, collaboratively building an onchain library as they play.
